The Center is one of several congregate meal sites in Klamath and Lake Counties, Oregon. We offer congregate meals every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday starting at 12:00. Through our partnership with Klamath & Lake Counties Council on Aging, we can also facilitate home-delivered meals to select Lake County residents. 

Here’s what you need to know about The Center’s congregate meal service in Lake County. 

  • Happy Senior

$5 Meal Service

The Center’s congregate meals are available for just a $5 donation. Meals are served on-site at The Center on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 12:00 – 12:30. 


What’s on the menu? Every congregate meal includes an entrée, dessert, salad bar, and multiple beverage options. You can pick up a weekly menu in our lobby to learn what we’re serving each day.

Speakers & Programs

Many of our congregate meals at The Center incorporate speakers and special programs to help you stay informed. Topics include current Lake County senior resources, changes to Medicare, local opportunities, and more. 


It’s not just about the food. Attending a congregate meal is a great opportunity to catch up with your neighbors, get an affordable meal, and learn about relevant local news.

To-Go Meals

If you’re interested in The Center’s congregate meal service but don’t have the time for a sit-down meal, stop by to pick up a to-go box. Our to-go meals are hot and pre-packaged — we just ask for a $5 minimum donation per meal.

Home Meal Service

Klamath & Lake Counties Council on Aging offers meal delivery to select Lake County residents. While we prepare and package home meals at The Center, we don’t currently handle delivery. You can learn more about home meal delivery and apply for the service at KLCCOA’s website.

Congregate Meal FAQs

Looking for quick answers about our congregate meal service? Here are a few FAQs.

  • Is the meal free?

    We ask for a $5 minimum donation for each meal. While the donation can be waived in special cases, those funds help us to continue providing this service and keep The Center running. We appreciate your support! 

  • Are congregate meals only for seniors?

    Congregate meals at The Center are available to Lake County residents of all ages. We often invite speakers with current news and resources for senior citizens. 

  • Can I get my meal to go?

    Yes! We offer to-go packaged meals for the same $5 donation. 

  • Do you deliver?

    Home meal delivery is available through the KLCCOA. You can apply for the program on their website. 

  • Where can I find a menu?

    Stop by The Center any time to pick up a free menu in our lobby.
